Elsewhere Coffee - "Tastes like: Pear, Plum, Caramel, Balanced Las Mazatecas is a collective of 70 Indigenous Mazatec women producers working in the mountains of Oaxaca’s Sierra de Flores Magón in Mexico. They cultivate small coffee plots growing varieties like Typica, Bourbon, and Caturra beneath natural shade, producing beautifully clean washed coffees. The coffee here is cultivated in “rusticano” systems, interwoven with fruit trees and native forest species, creating rich, low-impact ecosystems. Despite challenges around land ownership and migration, the group has grown from just five members into a strong, multigenerational network."
