The farm is owned and managed by Ramraj Ramesh, who is not only known for his high-quality coffee but also for producing pepper and oranges. The regions water resource is almost entirely reliant on monsoon rainfall and is extremely prone to drought when the monsoons fail, this emphasises the importance of farmers not becoming dependant on one crop and diversifying what they produce."
