Dear Green Coffee - "ANEI are an organisation of Native agroecological producers and farmers from the Sierra Nevada de Santa Marta and the Serranía del Perijá. Founded in 1995 by Aurora Izquierdo, the first Arhuaca native woman from the community of Yewrwa who decided to study in Bogotá, Colombia’s capital. The objective was to organise the economy of the native and farmer communities. She’s seen as a leader who used coffee as a tool of promote the cultural presence of the communities of Sierra Nevada de Santa Marta and Serranía del Perijá.  ANEI Colombia Exporter SE Origin works to implement eco-sustainable programs and projects that strengthens the organisational processes which reclaim social, economic and cultural rights."
